Flipkart Billion Capture+ sold out in 24 hours, next sale on November 20

Last week, Flipkart launched a new phone, called Billion Capture+. The smartphone is priced at Rs 10,999 for the 32GB storage variant and Rs 12,999 for 64GB storage variant. It what appears to be a good start for Flipkart as the company managed to sell all the units of the Billion Capture+ smartphone within the first 24 hours.

The company has, however, not yet revealed the total number of units it had put on sale. For those who missed buying the Billion Capture+ during the first sale, Flipkart has revealed that the next sale for the smartphone will take place on November 20 along with a host of offers like no-cost EMIs, cash back and exchange discounts. In terms of design, the smartphone sports a metal unibody. At the back, there is a horizontally placed dual-camera setup at the back, on the top left corner, with an LED flash next to it.

The company has also partnered with Idea Cellular to offer an additional 60GB of free data free for prepaid users. Additionally, the smartphone’s purchase will also give customers a 10-ride Ola Share Pass worth Rs 249 free.

Flipkart Billion Capture+ specifications

In terms of specifications, the smartphone features a 5.5-inch full HD display with 2.5D glass on top, and has a pixel density of 401ppi. Under the hood, there is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 octa-core SoC, paired with 3GB of RAM and 32GB storage, or 4GB of RAM with 64GB storage.

On the camera front, there is a dual-camera with the combination 13-megapixel + 13-megapixel sensors at the back with features like super night mode and Portrait Mode. Up front, you get an 8-megapixel front-facing camera. Keeping the smartphone ticking is a 3,500mAh battery with Quick Charge, which the company claims will last up to two days.

On the connectivity front, the phone comes with a USB Type-C port, 4G LTE, VoLTE, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and Dual-SIM. On the software front, the Flipkart Billion Capture+ runs stock Android 7.1.2 Nougat and the company says that it will be updated to Android 8.0 Oreo very soon.
